One
of our customers that contains the characteristics of turtle is a market leader in the
kitchen and bath fixtures and furnishing. Being the market leader for a long
while, they are contented to their status quo and losing the strengths in
innovation and moving up to next level, it becomes bottle neck for them to
leapfrog while the customers’ needs and market are changing. They no longer
find the right people easily as before, there are some new innovative
competitions grown up.
Although they are mindful to the changing needs and
situations, they have too many excuses to take bold steps in making
differences, involves complication in hierarchy and slow decisions. We were
invited to help the mid-high management in inspiring their intuition and
getting the team involvement and full engagement to embrace change. They were
recommended to scale down the operation to promote calculated risk trails and
the team were equipped with essential skills to cope with the change.
